According to the recent industry estimates there are over 500 semiconductor IP providers worldwide. Most of these IP providers are small technology innovators with limited customer reach. A few web-based pull marketing resources in the industry require the IP providers to register their IP with them and then anticipate being contacted by the interested customer. This approach has been a good start but needs to be complimented with a web- based push marketing channel. – That is where SiliconXpress comes in – SiliconXpress is a "No Cost" web based RFQ resource for the IP providers. SiliconXpress via its secure web based platform proactively solicits RFQ’s from the interested customers and provide them to the IP providers at no cost.
The procedure for becoming part of this eco-system is very simple. Customers after registration approval complete the pre-existing RFQ form. SiliconXpress validates the request and forwards the RFQ to all relevant and pre-approved registered IP providers. Interested parties then have the option to conduct their dialogue on the secure web based platform provided by SiliconXpress.
